An auction 6ale at Boston of Govern-■ment-own'ed wool included ten thousand ibalee of Australian.- Bidding was spiritand the offerings were eagerly taken. 'Eleven bales of Australian wool (46.per i cent, shrinkage) brought 92 cents per lb.; 1188 bales, 45 per cent, shrinkage, 93 cents; .258 bales, -47 per cent, (shrinkage, 86 , cents. Other lote realised from 65 to :86 cents. The highest price obtained was 'a dollar per lb. for 31 bales of fjreasv, 85 : per cent, shrinkage— Aue.-N.Z. Cablo 'Assn.
