RECEIPTS AND EXPENDITURE STATEMENT BY HON. A. M, MYERS, The Hon. Arthur Myers, Acting Minister of Finance, has furnished tne following particuiars relating lo the revenue and expenditure for the eight months ended November 30, 1918, as compared with the similar period if 1917; also revenue for tho month of November, 1918 and 1917, and the twelve months ended November 30, 1918. ns compared with the same period ending November 30, 1917. Commenting oh tho figures, Mr. Myers stated that it would bo observed that the revenue table for the eight months ended November,. 1918, as compan-ed with the eight months ended November, 1917, shows that. the total Amount received this year is 1 ,£1,232,411 in excess of the amount received -last year. Nearly all the sources of revenue show considerable increase. ' The expenditure out of ordinary revenue account for the eight months, 1918,' shows an increase of .61,751,929 as compared with the eight months of last year. This, of course, is to be accounted for by the increased interest ami sinking fund pension charges. REVENUE.
