SWIMMING
The annual meeting of tho Y.M.C.A. Amateur Swimming; Club was held on Monday night, a largo number of-mem-bers attending. The following oilicors were elected:—President, Mr,, Falconer j vice-president and lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr. Morgan Lmirensoii; i captain and delegate Swimming Centre, Mr. Cr. Gormlio; vice-captain, Mr. D. Hopkirk; coach, Mr. Manley; starter, Mr..'.A. M. Farnall; assistant-starter, Mr. Tracy; handicapper, Mr. Soinerville; committee, Messrs. J. Oliver, Miles, D. Hopkirk, T. Ward, W. R. AValty G. Dickson, Jlorrison, and J. Dolgleish. II; was decided that tho club badge be thn standard Y.M.C.A. bodge, affixed to I tho vees and jersey. Mr. A. Mv Farnall, J secretary o£ the Swimming Centre, attended, and during an instructive aildros? promised to donate a gold medal for competition. Mr. Tracy, physical culturist, also promised to donate, three medals.
