WIRELESS TROOP
A GOOD RECORD. A unit of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force abroad about which little i 6 heard, is the Wireless Troop, which served for so long in Mesopotamia. The following communication from the General Officer Commanding the Expedition to the Captain in Charge of the Wireless Unit shows that this little party of the Force has been keeping the name of New Zealand good:— "On the departure of your unit for service in'Europo I take this opportunity of thanking you and all members of tlie New Zealand Wireless Troop for the excellent service they have rendered and also to place on record the high standard of professional ability and discipline shown by jour command' under V tho trying conditions of service in this country. You and all ranks have fully I sustained and justified the high standard of all Now Zealand troops in all theatres of war, and I can depend on yon to give an equally good account of yourselves wherever you may be called upon to servo."
