TRANSFER OF INTERNED GERMANS
FKOM MOTXfIHI ISLAND TO NARROW, NECK CAMP.
By Telegraph*-Press Association. Auckland, December 17. The interned Ge.imans were transferred from Motuihi Islifnd to Narrow Neck Camp yesterday ai:iernoon. The ex-Gov-ern'or of Samoa (Si'Amltz) drove from tho wharf to camp in .a motor-car, and the mnin body marched under guards. A few hoots greeted ;schultz at one point, otherwise there wall do demonstration. The prisoners looked! remarkably healthy and well fed. At tr«> head of the march was Count von Luftner, who .took no part in the laughter i«nd joking in which the other internees indulged, _ When the ohotpgreipher. was taking a "snap" von Luckner -.raised the coat on his arm in front of his face. What struck the spectators most was the amazing amount of goods and chattels which" accompanied theY prisoners.
