CONTROL OF PETROL
RELAXING REGULATIONS. T.% Hon. Arthur Myers, Minister in Change of Munitions and Supplies, statuS yesterday that it had been decided, t upon', the recommendation of the Board of T\Bide to relax the petrol regulations in so far ae quantities held by any distributer or consumer were concerned. Under I ,Part (2), Clause (8), Section (c),the importer is required to limit the wholeBale or; retail distributor to quantities of petiwl not exceeding a six-week's supply, ami the wholesale and retail distributor ite required to limit the consumer to not inore than iv four-week's supply. As the position in regard to potrol has improve*!, the Minister in charge has, an. the recommendation of his advisers, decided to '.allow petrol to be sold in any quantities until further notice. In all other respects the regulations are to remain in force as heretofore.
