CHARGES AGAINST THE POLICE NOT PROVED. (Rec. December 17, 1.35 a.m.) Sydney, December 16. In the I.WAV. inquiry report Mn Justice Street finds that tlio charges of liuseouduct against the police aro not proved. The ovidence raised no suspicions that the alleged misconduct had occurred. No fresh facts were elicited raising doubt regarding tlio guilt of the conrioted men. Scully impressed the Judgo as a criminally-minded man of ii dan? gerous typo, treacherous and quite unscrupulous. There was little doubt that he was far more deeply implicated in any csiminal conspiracy to cause incendiarism than ho admitted-Press Assn.
