MONEY - MARKET. Tho Bank of England discount rato on January 12, .1917, was 55 per cent. On April 5 it was reduced to 5 ner cent., at which figure, it lias Biuce stood. OPEN MAIt-KET HATES, The open market rates were, not cabled. Last week the discount rate tor three months' hills wae 3} per cent., as compared with 3V* per cent, the 'previous week and 4? per cent, last year. Short loam were quoted at 3J per cent., as against 31 per cent, the previous week, and H per cent, last year./
