THE WARTIME EXPORT RESTRICTIONS
STATEMENT BY MINISTER. FOR- RECONSTRUCTION. London, December 12. Dr. C. AdVlison, Minister in Charge of Reconstruction, in a speech, said it was impossible to abandon export permits. So long as the blockade continued there must bo some control. AYe were under an obligation to assist our Allies, and had already taken steps in Ihal direction, but he would restore the export trade as .soon as possible. About 3(!0. articles of export had already been released, of which GO were only exportable to British possessions.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
