SERIOUS INCIDENT IN THE ADRIATIC
ITALIAN INDISCRETION. London, December 12. A message \ia. America states that the newspaper "Guardian" reports that a serious incident was provoked by the action of Italy on the Adriatic coast ten days ago. Though perfect quiet reigned in the district, tho Italians insisted on landing'two thousand troops at Gattaro. Happily, the Allies secured the presence of a similar number of troops, including French and Amoricoii.
