BIUTISH AND UNITED STATES ACTION. . • New York, December 10. Interest has been aroused over I lie possible action by the British and Canadian Governments regarding the United States Government's taking over Ihe control of American cables, many of which have landings on Canidian and British soil. According to the officials of one cable company, tho British Government has requested the officials not to make the changes as recommended by the Post-master-General, Mr. A. S. Burleson, until British officials have approved of them.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
