"Desert Gold," Beaumont Smith's new picture play, featuring Mr. T. 11. Lowry's famous New Zealand mare, is just, about completed. The story is entirely fictitious, and the characters aro purely imaginary. All the scenes in which Desert Gold was concerned were finished prior to her departure for the Melbourne Cup. We hear on good authority that she proved an oxcollent picture actress and seemed to like her work. Mr. John Hunt invites tenders for his entire stock, consisting of drapery, clothing, etc., valued at J12462. Particulars are advertised.
