SUDDEN DEATH IN A TRAIN
By Telegraph—Press ABBOclatlon. Pahiatua, December 9. Mr. William Hall, axed 58. dropped dead in the train between Pahiatua and Woodville. Me was revisiting the district,. in which his first: child was born. He was a son of the Into Mr. John Hull, an original settler in Pahiatua, and lately had been farming at To Kowhai, in the Waikato. Deceased, whose wife predeceased him, has left, three sons—two on nelive iscrvice—and two daughters. The late Mr. nail was a prominent Freemason, a Druid, and a Forester. Woodville, December 9. The body of the late Mr. William Hall, who suddenly Collapsed and expired in the Wairarapa train this afternoon, was brought on to Woodville. It appears that Mr. Hall had been hurrying to catch the train at Pahiatua, as he remarked that he had nearly, missed it. He had been visiting his sister. Mrs. Avery, at Pahiatua, and was returning to Levin. An inquest will be held to--1 morrow.
