POLYNESIAN REPRESENTATION. \ "Replying to a question in tho Hcnso of Representatives yesterday, iho Prime Minister said that ho hatl not received any reply to a suggestion (hat the Polynesian races should be represented at the Peace Conference. He know that some hundreds of applications had i cached the Imperial authorities from various groups of British citizens for representation at the Peace Conference, and the qrestion naturally was a difficult one. He thought that the proper thing as far us tho Polynesians were concerned would bo to secure representation at the peace celebrations. Mr. Uru (Southern Maori): That would 1)0 a joy trip. Mr. Massey: I have no doubt it should bo a pleasant trip. It would not entail a great deal of responsibility, but it would bo a recognition of tho part that the Polynesian peoples, and particularlytho Maoris, have taken in the var.
