Ltd., has a divisible surplus of £220,310. Influenza lias seriously depleted the working ranks of the various mining enterprises in the Reef ton district, and this has been very marked attheKeep-it-Dark Mine. In view of this fact, and the proximity of tho holiday season, it has . been decided to close the mine -until after the' Christmas and Sew Year holidays. With the reopening of the mine,, states the secretary, it is intended to initiate a scheme of development which includes the sinking of the main shaft to a deeper level, the extension of levels Nos.
