NURSES' BENEFITS
STATEMENT IN PARLIAMENT. Benefits for the nursing.profession were tho subject of a question asked by Mr. .K. G. Smith in the, House on Saturday. Ho asked tho Minister of Public Healtli whether he would have legislation prepared during the recess, to bo introduced next session, to provide for superannnation rights for "the nursing profession, and to protect nurses from disabilities suffered while ill the execution of their duty. . . ■ ' The Minister said that the question of providinx for pension benefits for nurses in the hospitals had been under con-, sideration for .some time, and he had hoped that something would he done. The question would be very carefully considered during the recess.
