Japan has certainly played the game during the war, and as far as all other demands, are .•oncerned, it is safe to predict ready acquiescence, but on the score of ■ protecting our small population,from serious inroads from Asiatic immigration, a reasonable, compromise would bo in the. direction of numerical reciprocity.
