. ■/ A meeting of the committee of the Port Nicholson Yacht Club was held on Thursday ovening. On the night of the armistice a very successful social evening , was held at tho Boat Harbour under the direction of a band of enthusiastic workers. The great success which attended that occasion has indyced tho committee to elect a sub-committee, consisting of Messrs. Wilkinson, Edluml, and Croucher, to promote similar occasions at times. In starting races it, has been decided that second-class yachts, shall start at 2.45 p.m., first-class vachts ut 3 p.m., and third-class yacht.? at 3.80 p.m. The race originally , proposed for December U has been postponed to u future (late.
