The Union Company announce that the position in regard to the intercolonial steamers Mberaki and Mannka remains the same. Both vessels are s.till held up at Sydney owing to a shortage of crews. Negotiations are being carried on | bv the company's officials and the Seamen s Union at Sydney to secure full crows, but the prospects arc not too bright .at the present moment for an early resumption of the service. The Huddart-Parker liucr Kiverina is also hold up at Sydney.
