THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for high westerly winds, changing to southerließ shortly. Oloudy, unsettled, and boisterous weather may be expected, with further rain generally, heavy in parts, and colder conditions following. Barometer falling, but rise overywhere soon. The westerly low pressure area has intensified somewhat since yesterday evening, and strong, squally, north-west winds .•till prevail.
