SEUK ItEPHESHNTATION ON ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF. By I'eleci'iißh—Pre.i.i Association. Christchurch, December 3. At a meeting of the Canterbury section of the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association the following resolntioh wiys passed:—"That this,section of Ihe New Zealand Vost and Telegraph. Officers' Association urges upon the executive to make immediate representation to the Department and also to the l'ostinaster-Oenernl in favour of the lolegraph side of the Service being represented officially in the administrative division, as endowed , by tho conference from time lo time/' During discussion it was stated l\v members that the greatly regretted death of Mr. V. V. Waters, I'iwt Assistant Secretary, provided an opportunity which had long been sought of allowing the telegraph side direct representation on the administrative staff of the Service. Up to the present it had been comprised of all postal men.
