WRITS TO BE ISSUED. . The Wellington South .and Palmerston by-elections were mentioned in the Hciifo of Representatives yesterday afternoon, when the Prime Minister moved that the Speaker should be directed to order the issue of the writs Mr W. A. Yeitch (Wangnnui) said bo thoueht it would be an exceedingly dangerous thing to have an. election at the present time, owing to the conditions of public, health. The Prime Minister said he had refrained from movinit for tbe issue nf the writs until the "nidemic had practically nassed away.
