CRIMES AGAINST THE HOSPITAL SHIPS (Rec. December 1, 5.5 p.m.) , London, November 29. The Press Bureau states that a White Paper discloses tho fact that the British Foreign Office on November 11 forwarded to the British representatives in Allied and neutral countries affidavits proving that the hospital ships Rewa, Glengury Castle, Guildford Castle, and Llandovery Castle were torpedoed without warning. Mr. Balfour (Foreign Minister) recalls the protest made through Spain njid Holland against these inhuman, illegal, and faithless deeds, and requests the British representatives to draw the earnest attention, of the various Governments -with which thoy are accredited to them, pointing out that the German Government has made no rejoinder nor ventured to *m>nly repeat the false accusations of Britain's miuse of hospital ships.-Aus.-N.Z.
