* * FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT t P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are. for moderate to strong south to south-east winds, with a, rising barometer. Cloudy, misty, and colder weather ia likely to prevail, with passing showers in most parts' of the Dominion. Atmoßpheric pressure linn increased and strong southerly winds have prevailed in the South Island, but north-weeterlies have ruled in the north. Fair to cloudy weather has been experienced to-day in the neighbourhood of Cook Strait, but elsewhere conditions have boon unsettled, with rain generally. . n. v. pgmiiehton. Acting Director.
