It is well known that tho roasting of coffee-berries results in the development of tho exquisite flavour so much appreciated by coffee-drinkers. But in is not so well known that our N.Z.-grown tobaccos, "Gold Touch" and "Throe Diamonds," are now subjected to the same rousting or tosistinsr n.w.e.cs—and wuh the sa»io result as in tho case of tho coffee-berries. The flavour is brought fully out, while at the fame time anv deleterious properties are destroyed. Smokers are unanimously in favour of tho new departure, and proclaim toasted tobacco superior lo any other.
