WELLINGTON COLLEGE HOSPITAL
Dr. Newman, who is in charge of the Wellington College Hospital, reports that the hospital continues iilmost iull. As fast as beds arc emptied they arc filled. Many very severe cases are being admitted, apparently being only recently discovered by the emergency helpers. The satisfactory feature is that' a good many convalescent patients have been evacuated, nearly all sent to convalescent homes. The work done by the whole of the staff is worthy of the "highest praise, and is done by all with zeal and cheerfulness. On Saturday night the weather w,aVvery bleak, and the gale very cold and harsh to people with chest (roubles, l)iit happily the mnin building could be heated by hot water radiators. Mr. Firth lighted the fires, and therefore the patients enjoyed a suitable temperature. lIATAITAI
