Customs duties oellected at the .port of Wellington yesterday amounted to £366 12s. 7d.
DALGETY AND CO., LTD. Tho Now Zealand superintendent for Dalgety and Company, Limited, lias received cable advice that the directors will rccommend at the annual general meeting of the shareholders' on November 27 a, dividend of 4 pur cent., making, with interim dividend, 8 per cent, for the twclvo months, also a bonus of ss. per share, making, with interim bonus, 6s. per sharo for the twelve months. It is further proposed to write off £50 000 to the reserve fund, £25,053 off premises, and £10,000 to staff benevolent fund, carrying forward £113,770. Dividend and bonus arc payablo on November 28.
