AUSTRALIA BAMMED BY THE NEYJ ZEALAND. Sydnoy, November 21. A recently-returned bluejacket states that lie .was aboard the warship 'Australia when she was rammed by the warship New Zealand. The vessels were engaged on a. decoy expedition in the vicinity of Heligoland. The accident was caused by an error in executing an order, and tho Australia was badly damaged, but managed to crawl home. The .sailor added: "Only the fog saved us, as there was plenty of German submarines about. We wouldn't have had a chance if one had spotted us."—Press Assn.
