BOLSHEVIK MENACE IN AUSTRALIA
REPRESENTATIVE AGITATOR HEAVILY FINED.
(Rec- November 19, 9.55 p.m.) Sydney, November 19. Peter Simonoff, representing the Russian Bolsheviki, was fined XIOO on two charges of addressing meetings in contravention of the War Precautions Act. The prosecution alleged that Simonoff deliberately attempted to institute a cam. paign analogous to the Bolshevik agitation in Russia-Press Assn.
