NEW NATIONS OF EUROPE
THE LIBERATION OF. SUBJECT RACES. (Rec. November 19, 7.35 p.m.), New York, November 18. Thomas Masaryk, the first President of Czechoslovakia, who is about to depart for Europe en route for Prague, where he will assume his duties, was entertained at a farewell dinner. Ho spoke of the war aims and the permanent peace that shall be attained. "Poland will bo restored, and the Poles.of Russia, Prussia, and Austria will be united. The Czechoslovak State will contain Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, and Slovakia of Northern Hungary; likewise the Rumanians and Jugo-Slavs will, be united and the Italians will be redeemed. Austria-Hun-gary will be reduced to German-Austria and the Magyars. Thore must be reorganisation in Russia and in the Balkans, and my conviction is that there is no room for the Turks in Europe. -Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
