IT has come to the notice of the Health Department that wholly unsuitable cases of Influenza are being admitted to the EMERGENCY Hospitals' on the recommendation of the various Vigilance .Committees; valuable beds are thus being WASTED. In 'future no cases will be admitted to these Hospitals except through' the Health Department. APPLICATION should'be made to telephone •501 a up till 10 p.m., and after that hour communication should be made as follows:— Female Cases: Telephone W92 (Normal -School, Hobson Street). • Male Cases: Telephone 834 a. Arrangements have also been made at the.District Health Office, Aitken Street, by which any persons over twenty in number can arrange to present themselves at one lime foe inhalation.
