A MESSAGE FROM AUSTRALIA
The Ri"ht Hon, W. M. Hughes, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth, , _ has rallied as follows to the Prime Minister of New Zealand:- • "Now when dingers ami difficulties of thepast four venrs have been surmounted by the valour nnd endurance of the Allied troops, I desire to express, on behalf of the Government and people of the Commonwealth, their great adnura-' Hon of the part played by the soldiers of vour country throughout tins momentous' struggle. Tt is with M™>* of great pride that the people, of ~he Oommoiiwen'th of Australia have watched the deeds of the men of the sister dominion of New Zealand, and, now, in the hour of derisive victory, send them, through you, their hearty congratulations."
