I"urthcr heavy rain is probable in the West Coast and southernmost districts, with rivers flooded. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency. Strong and Bqually northerly and westerly wiilds havo prevailed, with unsettled weather generally. Rain has fallen in many parts of the country, and heavy rain in Westfand and Otago.
