INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC. Publio Health Department, District Health Office, Wellington. NOTICE CLOSING ALL PLACES SPECIFIED. IN pursuance of the powers conferred on me by Section 18 of the Public Health Act, 1908, and being authorised in that behalf by tho Governor-General, I, Robert Haldano Makgill, District Health Officer at Wellington, do hereby require all places and buildings in the Wellington Health District set out or referred to in tho Schedulo below to he isolated by being closed until further notice or during the times specified with respect thereto in the snid Schedule, and •during tho period of such isolation no person shall enter any such building save for tho purpose of cleansing or disinfecting the samo or for some other purpose directed by me. SCHEDULE. All theatres, moving picture theatres, dancing halls, billiard saloons, concert rooms, shooting galleries, and other buildings or rooms used as places of public entertainment or amusement. All marblo bars, refreshment rooms and tea rooms to be closed except during s tho following hours:—7 a.m. to 9 a.m., 12 noon to 2 p.m., 5 p.m. to 7 I p.m. All 'buildings used for purposes of public worship to be closed • 'Sundays included) at 5 p.m. daily. All buildings used for public meetings, except' when used for meetings for public health purposes and dealing with organisations for that purpose. All proposed university, or other examinations by an education body to be cancelled, or, if proceeding at present, to stop at once. All places wherein is carried on the business of a barber or hairdresser. All public and private "schools, Sunday sohools, and university and other colleges.
