"STANDING BY FOE ACTION.* , "Can the Minister of Defence state whether the New Zealand Division will remain in France during the period of the armistice or go over to England?" asked Mr. C. J. Parr (Kflen) of the Minister of Defence in the. House of Representatives yesterday afternoon. . "I takn it that the Now Zealand Division will stand by in Prance for the term of the armistice, and be ready for action if ■needed," replied Hr James Allen with dramatic emphasis.
