IN relation ,to the proposed children's demonstration to follow the public demonstration on tho announcement of Armistice, tho arrangements for 'holding the demonstration are very well for- ' ward. As, however, schools have been ' closed as ia 'precautionary measure, the Secretary of the Education Board and ', Mr. Foster, representing the Headmas- ■ lei's, to-day interviewed the Mayor, and ; it was agreed that a postponement of the 1 function -will bo made if, at the time of official announcement that tho -Armistice conditions have been' agreed to, that course is advisable in tho interests of public health.
