J. he Republicans claim n majority in the House and the Senate, but the Democrats also claim a majority. Tho returns, which are incomplete, indicate: For the House, 331 Republicans; 105 Democrats; Senate, 19 Republicans, 47 Democrats, 2 doubtful. These figures may bo altered by a later return.
