GRIERSON-THACKER CASE

HEARING FIXED. The case of Grierson y. Thacker, alleged slander, was mentioned yesterday morning at the Supreme- Court before Mr. Justice Hosking. Mr. 'J'. W Young, for Lieutenant Cirierson. applied to have a date fixed for hewing: before a common jury of twelve.

Air. Jlorison, for Br. Thacker, said that he proposed to plead Parliamentary privilege, nnd urged that the matlor stand over.

■Mr. Young however, pressed (ho mattor, am! Monday, November IS, was fixed, to be postponed if Parliamentary privilege was pleaded.
