Cannon, 76 Wallace Street; second, Isabel Young, Washington Avenue, Brooklyn; third, Gcu'trude Rollins, 70 Russell Terrace, Newtown. Francis Buckley, 17 Queen Street, and Ernest G. Bolt, 35 Edinborough Terrace, received high commendation. The winner, a pupil of the Mnrist Brothers' school, chose Christmas Day as tho holiday to write about. The judge said that the standard of work was very high. More schools were represented than was the case previously.
