; THREE MORE APPEALS. • Three more instances of returned soldiers being-drawn in the ballot came before the ■ First Wellington - Military Ser--1 vice Board yesterday, when the Director of Personal 'Services appealed tor Thomas Thomson; labourer, Auckland; Alfred Davitt, farm labourer, Waikino; and Edmund Downing, Port Ahuriri. Captain , Hawkins, Assistant Director, stated that all three were returned sol-diers-who had been discharged becauso of 1 medical unfitness. Somehow they got into the be.llot, mostly through their own fault, and were drawn to serve. . The appeals were allowed. '
