INSURANCES ON BUILDINGS AND STOCKS. By Telegraph—l'rces Association. Hastings, November 6. 'It is now ascertained that the damage done to stocks by Tuesday's fire in Heretaunga Sliroet exceeds ioOOfl, .Hyde aud Hinde being the principal Mifferere. The 'complete insurances are:—Stock of Hyde, JiSOO in various offices; Hannah and Co', (not the Wilson Boot Company, as telegraphed yesterday), ,£2300 in the New Zealand Office; W. Hinde, MQb in the Australian Alliance; G. Wolf, £100" in the Alliance. Buildings: Hyde's and Ilinde's premises; .£llOO in the Phoenix Office; Armstrong's and Hannah!s, .£SOO in the same office. Both buildings tire owned by Knight 8r05.,, Dannevirko. The t occupiers' estimates of stock and plant values are:—Hyde, i 2500 (nothing saved); - Armstrong, .£IOOO, 'partially, der stroyed); Hannah and Co., .£3OOO (mainly damaged by smoke and water): Wolf, J!200 (nothing saved); Hinde, ,£BOO (nothing saved), '. ..
