FAILING TO PARADE
TWO RESERVISTS SENT TO GAOL. By Telegraph—Frees Aseociation. Christchurch, November 5. The sentences imposed by a district court-martial, which to-day found two Christchurch reservists guilty of refusing to obey the lawful oomiannds of a superior officer by failing to parade for medical examination when notified to do so, have been confirmed by Colonel Chaffev, officer commanding the Canterbury military district. Andrew Kerniaway Henderson, artist, Kedoliffs, who has already served a sentence foi» a similar offenoe, is sentenced to two years' imprisonment with hard labour. Joseph M Millan Hawker,' of Victoria" Street, is sentenced to 10 months' imprisonment wittt hard labour.
