The military police yesterday secured nt Mr. Holmes station, near Timaru, Hope Wliitlield Home, a reservist, who recenlly. figured in court-martial proceedings at Christchurch , for refusal to parade. Homo had jbcen released on parole, and did not appear when the court-martial resumed on October 25. His brother, who is gardener at Mr. Holmes's .station, states that the reservist was staying with him, and gave himself up when tho military police sought him. Horno refuses service on tho ground of American citizenship.
