RIFLE SHOOTING

An interesting match took place on tlio Bulls range on Monday, when a team from the Linton Defence Kifle Club (Pnlmereton), visited JJulle and tried conclusions with the representatives of the Raiigitikei Defence Rifle Club. After a most exciting contest the visiting team proved victorious by the narrow margin of four points. Both teams were some, what out of practice, but the shooting, considering the tricky wind blowing, was very fair. The following are tho scores:—
