FINAL OPERATIONS ' London, October 31. A Mesopotamia official report, states: "Tho cavalry, east of the Tigris forded the river north of Kalat Shergbat, and ijoined the armoured oars. The. enemy heavily attacked • on October 28, and forced back our right flank, but failed to drive ue off tho Mosul Hoad. Iteinfo'reements arrived and restored the situation. Meanwhile our forces, advancing up the west bank, ■ attacked and drove the Turks from their, position, and captared Kalat Sherghat. Tho pursuit continued' on October' 29, and we penetrated deeply into .the enemy's position five miles north of Kalat Sherghat, and took 1000 prisoners and much material."— Aue.-Jf.Z.
