' t'he business,:-was to-discliss the two lowing-motions:—Moved by Mr. Alfred itthews: "That the N.Z.R.M.' .Flock ok be' opened for.:the admission for jistratiou of unregistered purebred 'niney flocks, provided, that no unregis•'ed sheep shall; be. .eligible for entry in J Flock Book history shows, : uninterrupted' ;iise of pure ltomncy ;es since January 1, 1895, and-unless 3 --owners .of such., flocks can prove to j .satisfaction of-the council of, tho iociation that the ewes at that date .'re admittedly pure, and that _singlo try rams only have been usqd -in tho bk since 1915. Owners on making their tries shall furnish the council i with a story of their flock, 'sjtating: (a) llow ■ig they have possessed.the said flock; ) from whom the flock was originally tained; (c) the number' of ewes originjy purchased, and what .number of fes were'bred from'diiring the last ison; (d) what additions have -been ide to the flock from time ,to time from her flocks; ,(e) the breeding of all. ranis at have been used in the' flock; . (f),<! iether any ram of- any other breed' au that for which the entry is sought is been used in the flock since it has en in the present owner's possession. a unregistered flock will be eligible for itry-in the Flock Book unless passed i the council niter receiving the report ! the inspectors of the association apjintcd to inspect it,- and extra entrance es charged." Mr. Tv. F. Jacobs opposed the motion. Mr. J. E. Hewitt referred to the fact iat only thirty members were present it of a roll of MO. As an amendment 'moved: "That the motion should be it. to the association that all members i given an opportunity to vote by cor•sponden'ce." This was seconded by Mr. Whiteombe! and carriedrlit'was moved that the words "and that hgle entry rams only have been used t the Hock since 191!)" be deloted. and lis was eventually carried on a show of »™dS. ■ ' , ~m, , Sir. J. E. Hewitt moved: "That an ltivince fee of one pound be payable on j ewes entered in the Flock Book from fe. unregistered Eomney flocks desiring i enter." , ~ ■ „ ■After lengthy argument it wns finally icided that the amount of entrance fee b reduced to 10s„ and that the motion
