FATAL PEA EIF.LE ACCIDENT. .By Telegraph—Press Association. Gore, October 31. William"Latham, aged 55, a farmer and an old resident, was shooting rabbits this morning, when his pen rifle exploded while he was getting through a gorse fence. The bullet lodged above the right ear. He was found dead shortly afterwards. Ho leaves a widow aid ten of a family. Two sons are at the front. '
MAN'S BODY FOUND HANGING. Ashburton, October 31. Edward Ernest Bright, aged 44, living with his parents at Ashburton, was found dead, his body hanging from a beam in the washhouso.
