TRAMWAY REVENUE
The return of revenue and expenditure of tlie municipal tramway, sen-ice for the four weeks; ended October 13, presented to.the Tramways Committee, shows that the revenue increased by .£4OO as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, but the working expenses jumped up ~£3ii, leaving only a. net increase of £oi. Special expenditure during that period , last year amounted to ■£353; this year it rose to jE-465, an increase of JJII2. The credit balance decreased ,£6O. The figures are as follow:— 1918. 1917.
