LADIES' BILLIARDS
Last night the first games in the ladies' billiard diner tournament were played. -Mrs. Kilminster secured a vin from Miss Stace by n narrow margin, and after a keenly contested game. Mrs. Itobertson was successful against Mrs. Porter, winning by rather, a comfortable margin. In this game the loser certainly did not meet with much good fortune, and had rntlier n, poor run of the balls. In the game'between Mrs. Player and Mrs. Lockwood great excitement prevailed as both players kept so, closely together right up to the very last, when Mrs, Player managed to secure the required number. Owing to the illnoss of one of tho players, the games Imve had. to be rearranged. To-night at 7.30 Miss Stnce-will piny Mrs. Robertson, find Mis. Kiiminster will meet Mrs. Porter; and'at 8.30 Miss Leslie is to meet Mrs. Player and Mrs. Lockwood will play Mrs. Watkins.
