October 80, 8.50 p.m.) Melbourne, October 20, Following on the attacks in the Federal Parliament utxm the Government retrarding the report of tlio Royal Commission on the Navy' administration and subsequent representations from the Chairman of the Commission, the AotinßPrime Minister, Mr. Watt, stated - that he had agreed to the request of Mr. J. A, Jensen, Minister of. Customs, that he be relieved of tho duty of administrating the Customs Dopartment until tho completion of the investigations. These .investigations refer to the purchase of tha Shaw wireless works at Eandwick for •£55,000 by the Navy Department in 1316, when Mi'. Jensen was Minister for the Navy.—Press A6sn.
